Qualifications:

• Experience executing high standards of care
• Primary focus is small animal medicine
• Desire to build relationships with the team and local community
• Exhibit a true passion for fostering the well-being of pets and their families
• State Veterinary Board License (must be in good standing)

Day in the life:

• Collaborate with our knowledgeable and dedicated team: Numerous long-term technicians and assistants make up our highly skilled support staff. You'll receive full support from our team and will have ample opportunities for mentorship.
• Enjoy a positive work environment: Work in a drama free, communicative, and supportive environment. We hold staff meetings every other week to ensure our team culture remains positive!
• Partner with clients: Advocate for the pet to plan follow-up visits, provide home-care instructions and education to ensure life-long health.
• Maintain relevant, comprehensive medical records.
• Deliver medical and surgical treatments with formulary approved pharmaceuticals, supplies, and equipment, in accordance with our standards.
• Practice in accordance with state practice act and principles of veterinary medical ethics.

We provide care to dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and pocket pets in the Topeka community and have created an environment where our staff truly cares about one another, our hospital, and our patients.
