The dietary aide is responsible for preparing, transporting and serving therapeutic diet trays to the residents in the rehabilitation center accordance with posted therapeutic diet menus.
Qualified candidates must be available 7 days a week and will have the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled, the ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively; perform simple arithmetic, including measurements and conversions; plan and organize work, setup trays and plate in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards. This position requires moderate physical effort involving the frequent lifting of weights up to 25 pounds. Requires carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping and maintaining a stationary position for long periods of time and movements on a continuous basis. Experience preferred but will train energetic and service-minded individuals.
