What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Technician position at Westfields Hospital?

Qualifications include:
- Good cleaning and teamwork skills, able to follow established cleaning procedures, able to maintain confidentiality, able to come to work on short notice.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision, be adaptable to changes in workload and/or routine.
- Physically demanding work involves lifting, bending, kneeling, pulling, pushing, standing and walking the entire shift.
Schedule:
Full Time. Evenings 2:30p - 11:00p, weekend and holiday rotation. Open to discussing hours. Start pay approximately $18.00 per hour depending on experience, plus shift differential.
Duties include:
- This position is responsible for cleaning all areas of the hospital and clinics including patient rooms, exam rooms, treatment rooms, offices, public areas, restrooms, surgery suites and labor and delivery room.
- Responsible for vacuuming, sweeping, wet mopping, damp wiping, dusting, pushing carts, laundry processing, and restocking linens/supplies.
