Job Description
As a Front Desk Agent, you are an ambassador of hospitality, ensuring that every guest's journey begins and ends with a positive and memorable impression of our resort.
As a Front Desk Agent, you will:
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
- Issue room key and escort instructions to Bell Staff
- Date stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and message
- Transmit and receive telephone messages
- Answer inquiries about hotel services, guest registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
- Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts
- Compute bills, collect payments, and make changes for guests
- Make and confirm reservations
- Post charges, such as room, food, liquor, or telephone, to the ledger
- Make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations and arrange tours
- Nightly bucket checks
- Able to listen and find solutions to guests’ problem
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 15lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner
