SUMMARY :
This position performs tests and projects as directed by the QC / Lab Supervisor to support the manufacturing production operations and sales efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collects representative production samples for testing.
- Performs appropriate QC Tests.
- Compile and log test data.
- Generate COA’s with each shipment.
- Assure pre-ship samples are sent.
- Assist in manufacturing quality troubleshooting.
- Assist in administrative, organization of QC specifications, data and incoming data.
- Performs Compound Flexible Color Match development work.
- Generates and approves Process orders for compound production runs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Score Silver or above on WorkKeys test.
- Quality lab experience preferred.
- Experience in production in a compounds manufacturing facility is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and work on a computer, stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel;
and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Manufacturing environment includes : dust, outdoors, high noise levels.
