What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Teacher position at Westshire Elementary?
Come join an enthusiastic and collaborative faculty in pursuit of educating elementary aged students (in support of grades 2-5) as a generalist of elementary curriculum. This role requires knowledge of and experience teaching all subjects with a particular focus on math and literacy. Classes also spend at least one day a week outdoors learning in our forest classrooms.
Desirable applicant will be certified with an elementary endorsement in grades k-6. Applicant must enjoy working with children and collaborating with colleagues. Ideal candidate will be a well versed collaborator, understand responsive classrooms techniques and philosophies and have elementary teaching experience to include knowledge of best practices in literacy and math instruction.
