What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stocker position at Westside Building Materials?

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assists the driver in loading, locating job sites, backing up safely, preparing and restoring the job site, stocking materials on the job site
- Prepare the truck for the following day and maintaining the truck and the equipment
- Safely unload product and deliver to an assigned area as directed by the customer
Other Competencies:
- Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactive
- Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma preferred
- 1-3 years of experience or more is preferred
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain in stationary position 50%
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must wear protective gear and steel-toed boot
- Frequently, will move about inside the warehouse
- Must be able to operate warehouse machinery
- Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Constantly in warehouse environment

- Must be able to manage stress depending on tasks
- Must be able to multitask
- Must be able to receive information
- Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur
