Summary World Fuel Services is seeking a talented and experienced Level III Software Engineer to join our Low-Code Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting end users in designing, developing, and maintaining low-code software applications using modern programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into attainable low-code solutions for users. Establish automation solutions to streamline operational work for the team and across other teams. Provide guidance and document best practices to end users on low-code development. Monitor and maintain the health of all low-code platforms in the team portfolio. Establish, administrate, and guide users on app governance within each platform. Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify root causes, and implement or guide users to solutions. Manage environments and CI/CD configurations to streamline production deployments for users. License management across the low-code platforms to ensure appropriate license level for cost-efficiencies. Actively participate in guilds and committee meetings to offer guidance on the best low-code solutions. Create or utilize existing company APIs to allow users to easily access company data within their application. Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in low-code development. Requirements: BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related technology discipline is desirable. The successful candidate is likely to have 5 or more years of experience in Microsoft 365 technologies, Power Apps in particular. Knowledge of low-code/no-code platforms like Quickbase, Retool and others. Experience building modern, responsive web applications utilizing SaaS technology. Experienced in Scrum and Agile Methodologies is essential. Experienced with software practices of continuous integration and automated testing is desired. Commitment to understanding the business domain through strong business partnering is essential. Commitment to incorporating quality software practices into all phases of the project life lifecycle is essential. Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are essential. Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills. Self-motivated professional who demonstrates strong technical agility and responsiveness and who is eager to learn and grow within a Technology Services organization is essential.
