Full Time Transportation Dispatcher
**Experience Preferred 1-2 years transportation management**
Shift available: Full-Time
Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Payrate: $ 40K – 70K based on experience.
Address: 2120 Rand Rd Palatine, IL – (On-Site)
Qualifications:
- High School diploma / GED required.
- Previous transportation management and Brokerage experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Experience with transportation management system Trimble TMW preferred.
- Strong communication skills
- Solution-based management style.
Main Job Functions:
- Communicate and ensure timely pickups and deliveries with drivers.
- Provide communication and performance feedback to drivers.
- Collaborate with team to optimize transportation planning.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and requirements.
- Provide excellent & considerate customer service to internal and external customers.
- Administrative tasks:
- Create manifests.
- Manage accessorial charges.
- Update the operating system with any notes on communication.
- Validate driver’s delivery manifest are received and filled out properly.
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers to provide updates on shipment status.
- Utilize transportation management systems to track and monitor shipments.
- Handle shipping and receiving documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
