Teacher Aide - Part Time (Grades 5-9)

Whetstone Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Aide to support our middle school classrooms. The ideal candidate will be a caring and patient individual who enjoys working with students and is committed to helping them succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Provide individual and small group instruction to students
- Monitor student behavior and provide positive reinforcement
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
- Assist with classroom management tasks, such as grading papers and organizing materials
- Provide support to students with special needs as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with middle school students preferred
