Responsibilities And Duties
- Provide the ultimate in guest service on all catered events
- Responsible for all aspects of table and beverage service, side work delegation, assigning floor duties and requisitions during and for a catered event
- Ensuring that service exceeds guests’ expectations
- Reliable transportation is required to drive throughout the property for certain scheduled events
- Set the standard for all line level associates by utilizing exceptional leadership skills as a working supervisor
- Train and develop new staff as needed
- Prior banquet service and bartending experience necessary
- Excellent verbal communication skills, an outgoing personality, organized and be very guest-oriented
- Ability to carry 20-30 pounds and to stand for the duration of 8-10 hours a day
- Must be flexible in hours, handle multiple tasks at the same time, be quick and efficient and effectively handle guest situations
