Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our team. The Host will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and excellent customer service. This role plays a crucial part in creating a positive dining experience for our patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive and seat them in a timely manner
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
- Provide menus and relay any specials or promotions to guests
- Maintain a neat and tidy host stand area
- Assist with bussing tables during peak times
- Answer phone calls and take reservations with professionalism
- Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Proficiency in using POS systems, preferably Spot on POS
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Knowledge of guest relations and guest services
- Must have a passion for the food service industry
