Associate - Finance - Global Client Group

A top-tier, well-known private equity fund is seeking an Associate - Finance to join its Global Client Group as part of the newly established Centralized Client Finance team based in Manhattan, NY. This team partners with all client-facing functions, providing strategic analysis on fund performance. This role is a great fit for professionals with experience in fund accounting, private equity, or public accounting working with fund clients.

Job Function

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial and management reports for the group, including asset raising updates, expense tracking, and key operating and performance metrics.
• Provide timely intra-quarter financial updates to senior management, Investor Relations, and Finance teams.
• Support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) process, including financial forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret financial data for internal reporting and decision-making purposes.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of financial models, reporting templates, and processes to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 3 - 8 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or Fund Accounting, with exposure to areas such as accounting, reporting, forecasting, tax, treasury, corporate finance, and capital markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification in accounting (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience with fee modeling, scenario analysis, and complex data manipulation.
