Financial Operations Specialist - Real Estate Investments

Our client, a rapidly growing family office in New Jersey focused on Real Estate investments, is looking to expand its team to manage its largest and fastest-growing portfolio. In this hybrid role, the Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing property setup, resident account reconciliations, and collaborating with various teams to support day-to-day operations.

Job Function

• Responsible for the initial setup of acquired properties in rental software and the integration of newly hired personnel.
• Handle resident account reconciliations and address payment-related issues.
• Work closely with park and operations personnel, providing training on day-to-day operations.
• Analyze and manage key expenses, such as property taxes, state and local taxes, and property insurance.
• Support multiple teams, including accounting, finance, and tax personnel, with various ad hoc requests.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in public accounting or hands-on accounting.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills are essential.
• Experience in real estate accounting is a major plus.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and accounting processes related to the role.
