Our client is seeking a Fund Accountant to support a real estate investment business based in Manhattan, NY. This is a hybrid role offering competitive compensation and strong benefits. The Fund Accounting team also serves as a key liaison between multiple departments across the firm, including Front Office, Operations, and Investor Relations.

- Ensure accuracy of monthly NAVs by reviewing reconciliations, trading P&L, and accruals.
- Prepare quarterly financial statements for multiple funds.
- Support year-end audits and footnote preparation for fund financials.
- Maintain accurate fund accounting, reporting, and analysis.
- Communicate directly with third-party administrators.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Front Office, Ops, Tax, and Legal.
- Respond to investor relations requests and support related reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3-6 years of experience in Public Accounting (Audit – Financial Services) or a public/private mix.
- CPA required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting issues related to private equity funds (closed-ended funds), including capital allocation, waterfall and management fee calculations
- Experience with Visual Portfolio Manager software a plus.
- Accounting technical knowledge.
