NP - Psychiatric - Health Organization

Our client, a mission-driven health organization with an extensive network across NYC, is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their community-based team. Job Function

• Consult with MDs and LCSWs during patient visits, as needed, to address depression, anxiety, and related concerns.
• Provide clinical care, including medication management and psychiatric evaluations.
• Report to the site Medical Director and deliver evidence-based care in both in-person and telehealth settings, with a primary focus on in-person services.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other PMHNPs, psychiatrists, nursing staff, and professionals in health education, nutrition, social work, and behavioral health.
• Serve a diverse caseload of patients across the full age spectrum in a community health setting.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 2 years of clinical practice experience is preferred.
• Active or pending New York State license, DEA, and CSR preferred.
• Master’s degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Board Certification as a PMHNP required.
