What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Fund Accountant position at WhiteCap Search?

Our client, a credit focused hedge fund based in Stamford, is looking to hire a Senior Fund Accountant to their team to support a newly launched fund.

Job Function

Manage the firm's administrator on the production of financial reporting packages and NAV calculations
Work closely with the investment team to analyze impact of potential changes to fund structures
Assist the firm's investor relations team with the preparations of RFPs, DDQ and other investor reporting materials
Calculate investor capital balances, waterfall payments, and allocations for the fund

Job Requirements

Approximately 4-6 years of fund accounting experience, ideally focused on Credit investments
Strong Excel and modeling skills
Strong academic background
