What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dentist position at Whiteside County Health Department?
Whiteside Community Health Clinic is seeking a Dentist for our growing practice to enhance the dental hygiene of Whiteside County Community Health Clinic patients.
Clinic hours are 7:30-4:30 M-F. Dentists who are interested in part-time will be considered.
Minimum Qualifications
- D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited medical school
- Current license in the State of Illinois
- Must complete Federal Government agreements for payment of health services; DEA permission to prescribe and maintain controlled substances; and malpractice insurability
- Ability to provide health care in a sensitive, nonjudgmental manner to persons of all economic levels and cultural backgrounds
- Ability to independently examine, diagnose and treat clients according to scope of practice
Preferred Qualifications
- M.P.H. Degree
- Board certified in dental care
- Experience in primary dental care
- Experience in pediatric dentistry
- Trained in basic life support (CPR)
