Role Description
This is an internship role for an Intern at Whitesides & Company Insurance. The Intern will assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, research, data entry, document organization, and support to the insurance team. They may participate in customer service activities and gain industry insights. This is an on-site role based in Gastonia, NC, offering hands-on experience and learning opportunities in the insurance industry.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for tasks such as data management and document filing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for providing support and interacting with team members and clients
- Proficiency in using office tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other standard software
- Ability to perform research, analyze information, and present findings clearly
- Basic knowledge or interest in learning about the insurance industry is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is preferred
