Facility Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to facilities maintenance, including industrial and commercial cleaning tasks. The Attendant will play a crucial role in upholding our standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, and common spaces.
• Conduct industrial cleaning operations to ensure all equipment and surfaces are properly sanitized.
• Maintain floors through buffing, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure a clean appearance.
• Assist with custodial duties, ensuring that all waste is disposed of properly and recycling protocols are followed.
• Carry out residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
• Monitor supplies and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

• A Car and drivers license
• Previous experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and stripping floors.
• Ability to perform custodial duties effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the facility.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
