Our rapidly growing veterinary hospital needs a dedicated front desk Customer Service Representative and team member to join our experienced, motivated and passionate staff. Whitmire Animal Hospital is a full-service, 5 full-time veterinarian, small animal hospital offering complete medical, surgical and preventative care.
We run a highly successful facility that schedules appointments and sees walk-in clients, six days a week, including Saturdays. We are currently looking for an experienced full-time, client-focused, personable and driven individual, who is comfortable working in multiple roles. As a front desk receptionist, you are ultimately the first point of contact for our business. The ideal candidate would be an overall team member, knowledgeable with animals, and communicating with our patients’ owners. We are looking for someone dependable, with leadership, communication and organizational capabilities. This is a client service role, so candidates should have a pleasant personality, multitasking and management skills, and an ability to work with emergencies in a timely and effective manner. *Previous veterinary front desk or industry experience will be valued*
Duties include but are not limited to front desk assistance, greeting and checking in clients, answering/returning phone calls, medical record management, inventory stock assistance, scheduling appointments, client communication and education, clerical responsibilities, and maintaining hospital cleanliness.
Skills would include experience as a receptionist/front office representative, professional attitude and appearance, knowledgeable written and communication skills, a positive customer service attitude, ability to be resourceful and take initiative, along with multitasking, time-management and organizational skills.
Job type: Full-time (36-40 hours per week)

Front Office Assistant skills and experience:
- High school diploma/GED encouraged
- 1 years’ experience working in veterinary hospital environment encouraged
- 1 years’ experience working in a front desk/receptionist role
- Comfort communicating with clients required
