What are the responsibilities and job description for the North America Supply Planner position at Whole Earth?
Job Purpose The North America Supply Planner will be responsible for all production scheduling and coordination with internal and external manufacturing locations, and key business stakeholders in Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance.
Key Accountabilities • Ownership of Materials Resource Planning with Finished Goods production planning; work with manufacturing facilities and TPMs on coordination of materials ordering and visibility to Whole Earth Brands on current and planned inventory levels • Management of external manufacturers production scheduling and quantities; confirm alignment to plan and attainment of targets on daily, weekly, and monthly basis • Review demand forecast & coordinate with demand planner; identifying forward issues and resolving with business team • Analyze SKU past performance and forward-looking forecast to define inventory targets (A/B/C SKU management) by SKU, customer, and channel • Present in all S&OP reviews on inventory status, forward looking issues, and future supply capacity constraints and opportunities • Aligning production plan to support seasonal as well as continuous production, meeting fill-rate performance targets, customer service delivery and working capital / cost targets • Management of third party manufacturer production scheduling and quantities; confirm alignment to plan and attainment of targets on daily, weekly, and monthly basis • Ensure attainment on a monthly basis of inventory targets and warehouse capacity management, considering fill rate and working capital requirements • Manage SLOB inventory reviews and coordinate plans with Finance and Business teams to reduce monthly SLOB balance
