Live-in Caregiver

Job Description:
We are a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) seeking a compassionate and experienced live-in caregiver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily care and support to our elderly residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, and coordination of healthcare services.

Responsibilities:
*The position requires you to live on site in a fully furnished private bedroom (rent free) with Internet, full use of laundry equipment, Tv with Netflix
and all utilities paid
*Provide daily care and support to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
*Administer medication and assist with medication management
*Coordinate and schedule healthcare appointments and services
*Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
*Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of residents' care plans and progress
*Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties, as needed

Job Requirements:
The live-in caregiver must be present in the facility each night. You will have scheduled shifts and sheduled off time.

*Must be at least 18 yrs old
*Must pass a criminal background clearance prior to initial presence in the facility
*Must have a clear health screening and clear TB test within 7 days of employment, with outside test results not older than 6 months.
*Must have First Aid/CPR certification
*Must complete all state required training within the allotted time
*Must be able to physically perform the required duties including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and have a basic understanding of the needs related to seniors
*Must be able maintain a positive attitude towards challenging tasks
*Must have experience with:
*Properly cooking delicious meals
*Housekeeping (cleaning, washing laundry, sweeping, mopping etc)
*ADL’s (bathing, toileting, dressing, hygiene etc.)
*Recognize, understand and assist with the needs of seniors
*Must have the ability to communicate clearly with residents, family members, team members, outside agencies and management
*Must be neatly dressed and well groomed according to dress code
*Must possess basic computer skills
*Must be flexible and open to schedule changes

Wage: $17.50

Schedule: Monday- Wednesday 7:00AM to 1:40PM
Saturday -Sunday 8:00AM to 6:00PM
