Wieland is hiring a Manufacturing Operator. The Manufacturing Operator will operate the shred/sort equipment to ensure manufacturing lines run without interruptions. This role is located in Shelbyville, KY and will be fully on-site.
Starting Pay: $23.50/hr
Schedule: Rotating 12-hour Shifts
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Responsibilities
Manufacturing Operator Responsibilities:
- Runs HMI to ensure the manufacturing line runs without interruptions.
- Safely operates mobile plant and equipment such as forklifts, yard sweepers, front-end loaders, skid steer, and Sengenbogen per applicable procedure.
- Directing Shred/Sort technicians to empty hoppers as needed
- Load infeed hoppers.
- Print/apply rejected box labels and change out as needed.
- Check/Empty conveyor cleanout tubs.
- Take empty boxes/skids out.
- All other duties assigned during shifts
Manufacturing Operator Qualifications:
- 3 years of manufacturing experience
- 3 years of forklift experience
- 1 years of heavy equipment operation
- Ability to calculate basic math to verify weights
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- High School Diploma
- Positive Attitude
- Excellent attendance
