What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Service Manager position at Wiggins Incorporated?
Wiggins Incorporated is a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) contractor who is looking to hire an experienced Electrical Manager for our new service department and LLC, known as Superior Facility Services (SFS). This is an in-office position, where you can use your experience to help grow our service team on the electrical side.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical service department
- Responsible for mentoring and managing service electrical technicians
- Develop client relationships as the main point of contact
- Help our dispatchers with invoicing/pre-billing
- Be available and on-call for the department's needs (emergencies/after-hours)
- Assist with hiring/managing electrical technicians
- Responsible for ordering materials
- Responsible for quoting all electrical service work
- Reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy and approving payment
- Track ticket profitability
- Review/approve technician timesheet
- Assist the dispatchers with scheduling technicians and equipment as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Licensed electrician (journeyman or master)
- Electrical experience
- Management experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to travel when necessary

- Office hours: 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
- Monday-Friday

SALARY IS DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE.
