Position: Warehouse Utility Associate
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Location: Lenexa, KS
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 PM
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our warehouse team as a Warehouse Utility Associate. In this role, the selected candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and pallet jacks, assisting with loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, stack, and retrieve merchandise
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas
- Perform general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and labeling orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, including sweeping and removing debris
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry
