What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender (Full and/or Part Time) position at Wild Magnolia?
Overview:
Wild Magnolia is a full service restaurant with lunch, brunch and dinner and a casual bar. Everyone works some nights and weekends. Being a small, very busy restaurant, this is not an easy job or the place for lazy people. If you want to work hard and be part of a close knit, positive team with good compensation, Wild Magnolia may be the place for you. If you have never served or bartended before, but would like to, we will be glad to train you. If you already have experience, we'd love to talk to you!
Note: Must be 21 or over in order to bartend in the state of Virginia.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, offering EXCEPTIONAL service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and restaurant
- Adhere to all food safety and handling procedures
- Operate point of sale (POS) system and handle customer payments
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar and restaurant
