What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician position at Wildflower Veterinary Hosptial?
We are a start up independent veterinary hospital in Brighton, we have grown from 1 vet to 2 vet and 5 technicians, 3 assistants and 3 CSRs! We are in need of more support staff as we grow!
We are looking for a candidate with excellent anesthesia and surgical technician skills. We have digital full body radiographs, an IM3 CR7 digital dental with hand held portable unit. We have a wireless ultrasound for AFAST and TFAST scans. We have capnograph, EKG, pulse ox, and blood pressure. Full Idexx suite including Sedivue. Never run another fecal--we send them allll out! Need to be comfortable with computers, email, and texting. We are paperless on Cornerstone. We bring in internal medicine for ultrasound, boarded surgeon for orthopedic procedures, and a boarded dentist for root canals.
Experience as a veterinary technician highly preferred and RVT certification highly preferred. Sense of humor required. Love of animals is of course, required, tolerance of humans needed. Belief in excellent medicine, dentistry, and preventative healthcare necessary. Bilingual is a bonus.
