WILDFLOWERS DAY NURSERY - Play and Nature-Based Infant/Toddler Center

Wildflowers teachers are warm, flexible, enthusiastic and fiercely committed to constructing a place of joy and wonder for children aged two months to two years.

The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal communication, a positive outlook, and can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Fluency in Spanish preferred. Pay depends on experience and education.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • One year experience caring for children
  • High School Diploma or GED

REQUIRED SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES INCLUDE:

  • Relating warmly to children, parents, and co-workers
  • Communicating effectively in person and in writing
  • The ability to work collaboratively on a team
  • The ability to stay calm and positive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Lifting 50 pounds and getting up and down from the floor frequently
  • A propensity for taking children outdoors often and letting them play in the mud with bare feet

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Benefits:

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • child care: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • 45 hour course certificate? (Preferred)
  • Health and Safety Course Certificate - ECECD (Preferred)
