What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farmers Market Vendor position at Wildstag Provisions?
We are Wildstag Provisions (www.wildstagprovisions.com) a small local Santa Cruz business that sells carefully vetted, mindfully sourced wild game meats such as bison, venison, elk and wild boar. All of our products are high quality and gourmet.
We primarily sell our items at the Live Oak, Westside and Downtown Farmer's Markets and are seeking reliable staff to help run the Cabrillo Farmer's Market booth (every Saturday). This would involve picking up heavy coolers and items such as EZ Up and requires a vehicle that can hold this (anything the size of a Subaru Outback or larger would be required).
Duties:
- Picking up booth items and coolers
- Setting up the booth before the market begins
- Running the POS system and taking payments
Responsibilities:
- Being able to answer questions about products and the sources
- Transporting booth supplies
- Taking inventory after the market
Requirements
- Highly reliable
- large vehicle
- Ability to lift heavy(ish) items
- Demeanor that is suitable to handle customers at farmers market
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
