Outside Sales Representative
Our Company:
Wilke Window & Door is the largest Andersen window dealer in the St. Louis Metro area. We offer a wide variety of products including windows, doors, millwork and cabinetry to professional builders, remodelers and retail customers. We are family-owned, and have been in business for over 60 years. We have two large showrooms located in Fenton, MO and Shiloh, IL.
Position:
Due to continued growth in the residential remodeling market, Wilke Window & Door is currently in need of an energetic Outside Sales Representative based out of our Fenton, MO location.
The Outside Sales Representative will service builder and home remodeler trade accounts to provide windows, doors and related products.
The Outside Sales Representative must be comfortable using a computer to generate quotes. Must also be highly organized and have the ability to take accurate (tape) measurements in order to present precise cost estimates in a timely manner.
Candidates with experience in home remodeling and/or knowledge of construction and building products preferred. A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are required. Familiarity with Andersen IQ or other window estimating software a definite plus.
Responsibilities:
- Punctually run sales appointments and meet with customers at job sites.
- Take accurate tape measurements of windows, doors and related products.
- Present solutions to customers including options, price, credit terms, and estimated time of delivery based production and delivery schedules.
- Prepare estimates using quoting software.
- Promptly follow up on customer inquiries, sales leads, and estimates.
Requirements:
- 2 years of in-home or outside sales experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Background in construction or home remodeling a plus.
- Aptitude to learn new technology, software, processes and procedures.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Self-motivated and result oriented, with a strong focus on exceeding customer expectations.
- Positive attitude and strong verbal communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License with a MVR in good standing.
