Job Summary:
As a Processing Supervisor, you would be responsible for efficient operations within our egg processing plant by supervising staff and organizing/monitoring daily workflow.
Essential Duties:
- Lead a team of employees that routinely meet or exceed performance goals.
- Responsible for the organization of daily plant operations.
- Fulfilling all customer orders efficiently with the highest quality eggs.
- Accurately recording egg and packaging inventories.
- Ensuring compliance with USDA and Food Safety requirements for all product and personnel.
- Completing all required documentation, paperwork, and record keeping.
- Ensuring that all safety guidelines are being followed.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, or closely related discipline from an accredited 4 year college or university or equivalent work experience. Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence effectively.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Competent in the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to work irregular hours including nights and weekends.
- Ability to work in various climate conditions including extreme heat and cold environments, walking, standing and sitting for long periods of time.
- Previous HACCP/SQF experience preferred.
- Technical knowledge of Biosecurity and Food Safety
- Experience dealing with regulatory agencies (i.e., USDA)
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
- Mechanical and or maintenance experience
Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
