Delivers nursing care to assigned patients in collaboration with a Registered Nurse and is accountable for patient care administered during the shift. The LPN is accountable to the RN, Charge Nurse, and Director of Nursing and is responsible for adhering to all Standards of Nursing Care.
Responsibilities:
- Patient assessment.
- Assist in implementing the nursing process, assessing, planning and evaluating.
- Collect specific clinical data as directed.
- Assist in providing nursing care according to established policies and procedures.
- Accurately evaluate & document patient information.
- Accurately & effectively administer medications as directed.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by nursing leadership.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current WA License.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Satisfactory completion of hospital LPN orientation program.
- Must have current CPR certification.
- Excellent communication skills and be able to communicate clearly and accurately.
