William Grant Tank & Vessel, Inc. is looking to hire a hand for post-production activities: testing, sandblasting and painting, shipping and delivery, general maintenance, and production support.
Essential Job Duties:
- Assist with hydro- and air-testing
- Prepare tanks, vessels, and accessories for shipment
- Load tanks, vessels, and accessories for shipment
- Receive, unload, and mark deliveries
- Assist with sandblasting and painting
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Assist welders and fitters, as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
- Proficient in English
- Excellent communication skills, listening, comprehension and feedback
- Strong team building and decision-making
- High attention to detail
- Strong work ethic, and the ability to handle peak work times
Physical Requirements:
Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, medium work, visual acuity
