William Vaughan Company is helping in the search for an Estimator for a General Contractor based in Holland, OH. They are seeking a skilled individual to join their team. If you have a strong background in construction and a commitment to delivering high-quality results, we want to hear from you!
Role :
Develop detailed estimates and bids for construction projects.
Review and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
Interpret plans and drawings to gather necessary information.
Perform take-offs to compile data for bids.
Meet with clients to understand their needs and create scopes of work.
Requirements :
Strong team player with excellent resource, planning, and time management skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with SAGE Estimating software.
Proficiency with take-off programs such as On-Screen or Plan Swift.
Three (3) or more years of experience in the construction industry as an estimator, manager, or engineer
