POSITION: Middle School Track and Field Assistant Coach – 2 positions
REPORTS TO: Middle School Athletic Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous coaching experience preferred
- Philosophy consistent with Williamston Middle School’s educational goals
- Able to take direction and make mature decisions
- Flexible schedule, available to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to work effectively with young student-athletes
- Thorough knowledge of Track and Field fundamentals and strategies
- Leadership qualities
- Love of the sport
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assume responsibilities associated with the role of an assistant coach
- Organize and conduct practices during the season
- Communicate effectively and as directed with coaches and Athletic Director
- Provide leadership in representing the entire Track and Field program
- Be supportive of middle school academic, behavioral, and building policies
- Supervision of athletes
SALARY: $1,200.00 stipend
