The Willis-Knighton Rehabilitation Institute is seeking an individual to join our team as a Security Officer. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Actively welcoming all patients, visitors and staff; providing assistance to and from parking areas; patrolling buildings and grounds; inspecting doors, windows and locks to determine security risks; conducting routine checks on the clinical and outpatient floors as appropriate; ensuring unauthorized personnel are escorted off campus in a timely and courteous manner, documenting and investigating incident reports; responding to emergency calls for assistance to control disorderly or combative patients or visitors; regulating and assisting with traffic control as needed, issuing parking tickets; other duties as assigned, routine or otherwise.
The candidate must be at least 21 years of age, must have a high school graduate or GED, and must possess a valid driver's license. Willis-Knighton Health System orientation, as well as a departmental-focused orientation, is required upon hire. Salary is commensurate with experience and the ability to complete training and/or certifications. Shifts and hours of work may vary and will depend entirely upon the facility security supervisor and the needs of the facility. Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Day Hours: 0600-0630
