What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse position at Willis Knighton Health?
Willis Knighton Health System is seeking an LPN to work in a fast-paced Pediatric Clinic. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, critical thinking and organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, dependability, possess excellent communication skills, have a solid knowledge of computers , and have the initiative to work independently. We have an atmosphere of teamwork that we expect to continue with all new hires as you will work closely with physicians, managers, nursing and clerical staff as an integral component assisting with the daily operations of our clinics. We are also looking for someone that loves the pediatric patient population. The job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: patient triage, medication reconciliation, phoning in prescriptions, medication administration, documentation, responding promptly and appropriately to our patient phone calls, scheduling tests, and assisting in procedures. Vaccine knowledge and skills is preferred but not required. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 5:00. An orientation will be provided based on your experience and your level of competency.
