Duties:
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required for roofing projects.
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Collaborate with project managers and sales team to ensure accurate and timely completion of estimates.
- Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to determine the most cost-effective options.
- Analyze project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
- Prepare and present estimates to clients, including detailed breakdowns of costs and timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, including revisions and updates as necessary.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of roofing methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficient in using estimating software and tools.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
