About the Opportunity
We are looking to hire an Urgent Care Associate Veterinarian to join our team. For the right applicant who sees VidaVet as their new home and who sees a good fit with our team, we will be highly competitive on compensation. About You
You are a practicing veterinarian, licensed, and in good standing with the State of Delaware. Additionally, you are committed to practicing high-quality evidence-based medicine/surgery and could consider yourself a lifetime learner. Experience in urgent care or emergency care is a plus, but not required for application. You are calm under pressure, confident and generally have a cheerful attitude in the exam room and treatment areas.
About the Team
The staff currently consists of 4 Veterinarians, 9 Licensed Technicians, 6 Assistants, 3 Client Service Members and 1 awesome Office Manager! The team consistently praises the hard work, dedication, support and kindness in our hospital. The minimal turnover of our team ensures continuity and collaboration that few other practices offer. Our team also enjoys bi-annual teambuilding retreats, in addition to other seasonal activities to celebrate our hard work and successes throughout the year. Vida Veterinary Urgent Care, an independently owned practice, has served the urgent care needs of pet owners and their dogs and cats since 2023. We aim to keep cost for the clients affordable while practicing a high standard of care. Located in rapidly growing Middletown, De, we are conveniently 1 hour from the Delaware Beaches and 1 hour to Philadelphia, Pa. Our state-of-the-art hospital is newly designed and built in 2023.
