Camp Overview
Willow Lake Day Camp is located in New Jersey on 35 shady acres across from the north shore of Lake Hopatcong. Our campers range in age from Pre-K through 10th grade. We operate Monday through Friday, June 23rd through August 15th 2025. We offer Aquatics, Athletics, Arts and Adventure activities plus lots of exciting special events throughout the summer!

Job Responsibilities
The Unit Leader will oversee a specific age group, manage staff, supervise daily activities and ensure safety while creating a cohesive team environment. The right candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who has strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Candidate must be an effective, calm, skilled communicator.
Some responsibilities include:
- Provide ongoing supervision, training and feedback to your staff
- Keep ongoing communication with camper parents/guardians
- Create/foster an environment for your group so that each camper experiences success during camp
- Recognize, respond to, and provide opportunities for problem solving in the group
- Ensure your groups remain on schedule
- Actively participate in staff training and meetings
Qualifications
- Previous camp experience required
- Previous Leadership Team experience preferred
Summer 2025 Dates & Times
- June 23rd - August 15th, 2025
- Closed July 4th
- 8:00am - 4:15pm daily at camp
