The Village at Penfield is looking for a Maintenance Technician, responsible to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. With a practical mind and attention to detail.
Part Time 20 hours per week.
Essential Functions:
- Inspect and maintain the building and grounds.
- Respond to resident requests and work with residents to minimize/resolve problems and complaints. Follow-through to ensure the issue is resolved.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
- Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning equipment.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems. Keep records of all maintenance activities and supplies used.
- May drive company vehicle from community.
- May supervise the work of other associates and outside contractors.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a commercial or residential setting· Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail· Strong customer service skills to interact with residents and address their maintenance needs.
