Legal Assistant - Personal Injury Litigation (Irvine)
Impact:
As our Legal Assistant in our Personal Injury Litigation department, you will have the opportunity to assist our Paralegals and Attorneys in progressing our wrongful death, TBI, catastrophic injury, and major orthopedic cases through litigation.
Daily Tasks:
- Calendar and manage court deadlines.
- Prepare documents for filing.
- Communicate with clients in an effective and courteous manner.
- Assist with pre-trial preparation, including drafting trial documents and preparing exhibits.
- Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Your Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in litigation.
- Experience with calendaring.
- Knowledge of filing procedures, including e-filing.
- Experience preparing deposition notices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working in Personal Injury law a huge plus.
- Type at least 40 WPM.
- Spanish fluency is a plus.
