POSITION TITLE: Fuel Farm Technician
DEPARTMENT NAME: Maintenance Department
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for receiving aviation and GSE fuel, replace fuel farm and fuel truck filters, conduct quality control checks on fuel farms and trucks as directed, and perform maintenance to fuel systems on trucks and farms.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Responsible for ordering of aviation and GSE fuels
· Samples and tests products for quality control and perform inspections and basic maintenance on fuel farm facilities and truck fuel systems.
· Transfers product and monitors storage tanks, pipes and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contamination
· Receives jet fuel, gasoline, diesel fuel, and avgas via tanker trucks
· Makes required log entries of fuel transactions, quality control, and maintenance
· Perform quality control checks on fuel farms and trucks as directed
· Other duties as assigned by the operations manager
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be people oriented, highly motivated with a positive and friendly attitude
· Must be available to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays and must be able to stay late for irregular operations
· Must have basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
