Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavation/Landscape Supervisor to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the construction process. This role requires strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of construction practices, including schematics and project scheduling.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Interpret and manage project schematics, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Utilize Blueprints for project documentation, including plans and revisions.
• Oversee the management of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment to meet project timelines.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers on budgeting and construction estimating to ensure financial efficiency.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices in construction techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards in construction environments.
• Experience with construction estimating techniques to maintain budgetary goals.
• Familiarity with project scheduling software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team of workers.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during the construction process.
• Knowledge of excavation and landscape construction practices is a plus but not required.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
