What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piano Teacher position at Wilton Music Studios?
Join our community of students, their families, and a stellar faculty at Wilton Music Studios, located in Wilton, Ct., in the heart of Fairfield County.
We are seeking exceptional piano instructors to inspire and mentor students of all ages, from beginning through advanced levels. You must be able to teach both in person and online, if necessary. We offer competitive hourly rates commensurate with experience. We handle all administrative, payment, and marketing tasks, so you can focus solely on teaching.
Ideal candidates possess:
- A warm, patient, and engaging personality
- Experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels
- Proficiency in preparing students for performances, auditions, competitions, and other performance opportunities, as needed
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Music/Arts or Music Education degree, or equivalent experience
A car would be helpful. If you don't have a car, map out the trip and please ONLY apply if this seems doable for you. We are not within walking distance of a Metro North train station. Merritt 7 (closest but infrequent trains) or South Norwalk are the best stations from where you can get an Uber.
