Tasks
- Creates job start purchase orders and variance purchase orders for residential construction
- Tracks and expedites orders and request as needed, keeping all internal
- Clearly communicates the appropriate details with all affected groups and coordinate follow-up plans as necessary
- Review and cross verify accuracy of Starts
- Ensures cost control measures
- Daily reporting
- Supports Purchasing Team and Managers
- Other duties as assigned
Abilities
- Basic working knowledge of purchasing policies, processes, and procedures
- Must have basic knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Hyphen BRIX/BuildPro experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Extremely well organized, able to multi-task and prioritize
- Attention to detail and persistence in follow-up
- Basic computer skills
Education & Experience
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in purchasing: Home Building preferred
