What you will be doing…
- Effectively communicating with clients to receive information necessary to complete the engagement with minimum disruption to the client.
- Prepare workpapers to document scope and findings of the engagement in accordance with AICPA standards.
- Performing other accounting, auditing, and consulting duties as needed in engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel.
- Complete assignments, tasks, and project components in a timely, accurate, and budget-conscious manner.
- Work cooperatively with team members to provide quality service to clients through sharing, gaining, and gathering information.
- Establish rapport with peer client levels and develop a professional relationship with the client.
What you bring…
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related subject
- 2 years of experience in external audit within public accounting
- Experience working with clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, professional services, NFP, real estate, etc.
- CPA successfully achieved or in progress
- EBP experience a plus but not required
*Preferred: Consideration will be given to candidates in the Atlanta or Chattanooga area who are comfortable working in a hybrid model. We will also consider strong candidates that are remotely based in other geographic locations.
