Requirements:
- Proven experience in a veterinary setting, showcasing your proficiency in animal handling. CVT/LVT certification encouraged but not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively connect with pet owners and provide comprehensive care instructions.
- A deep commitment to upholding the highest standards of veterinary medicine.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle various responsibilities efficiently.
- Familiarity with veterinary equipment and diagnostic tools.
Responsibilities:
- Handling/restraining pets safely and compassionately during examinations and treatments
- Assist veterinarian during examinations, surgeries and treatments
- Administering vaccines, medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Preparing and maintaining medical records and treatment plans for each patient
- Monitoring and recording vitals signs of patients during anesthesia
- Assisting with anesthetic dental cleanings and surgical procedures
- Providing post-operative care and monitoring the recovery of surgical patients
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the hospital and boarding areas
- Ordering and stocking supplies as needed
- Assisting with scheduling appointments and managing client communications.
- Assisting in emergency and critical care situations as needed

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
