Description
A Medical Biller is responsible for organizing patient medical costs and sending invoices to collect payment from patients and their insurers. Their duties include, entering patients demographics on the billing software system; Sending claims to payers in a timely manner; Resolving denied claims; review Medicare and Medicaid rules and claims; calling patients to discuss payment and develop reasonable payment plans, and recording information about outstanding claims.
Requirements
Must have a minimum of High school diploma
Must have completed Medical billing and coding
Must nave a minimum of 2 year working as a biller
